Fairy House Birdhouse from DZI is handmade by Himalayan artisans using all natural materials: felted sheep’s wool for the house, bamboo for the perch, and hemp for the hanging cord. Felted wool is naturally water-resistant and keeps birds warm and dry. Hang in a protected spot, such as on a porch, and your “Wild Woolies” birdhouse will last for years. A button enclosure is provided at bottom for cleanout.
Designed with a 1.25″ hole to accommodate chicadees, wrens, titmouse, nuthatch, and downy woodpeckers, the hole may be enlarge to 1.5″ to accommodate Tree Swallows and bluebirds.
