John has 30 years experience in the casual furniture industry and is our fearless leader. When not working to help customers make wise choices when planning their outdoor rooms, John enjoys gardening and restoring vintage automobiles and aircraft and is currently part of a crew restoring a B-25 C Mitchell bomber for the South Carolina Historic Aviation Foundation. John’s secret dream of being a stunt car driver may be a thing of the past but his connection to anything with a motor has never wavered.

Dottie holds a degree in Interior Design from Florida State University and has 30 years experience designing outdoor living spaces. Dottie creates all website, advertising, and marketing content for Casual living, and loves to write, travel, dig into family history, and is a sucker when it comes to any dog (rescues are always welcome!). Dottie dreams of improving her school-girl French one day while living in a picturesque French village.

William comes to Casual Living from a career in education. Earning his Masters in Science at U of SC, William taught for many years at the grade school level. An avid outdoor enthusiast, with particular interest in mountaineering, you'll find William's off-hours pursuits take him wherever he can enjoy nature. His meticulous attention to detail, interest in learning, and enjoyment in figuring out how anything works are all useful traits both at Casual Living and in life.
