Carol and Bill's Screened Porch

A small screened porch adjacent to the kitchen needed an up-date. Bridging the space between interior and deck, the porch overlooks lawn and gardens and a private spot in one of Columbia’s older neighborhoods.

Small-scaled natural wicker furniture was replaced with a more generously sized all-weather outdoor wicker. In order to keep the collected, curated look of the interior décor, the decision was made to choose pieces which were not all matching or constructed of the same material.

In addition, a simple repositioning of the furniture opened up the space and created am inviting arrangement that pulls you in as soon as you walk onto the porch.
